The Budget Symposium 2007 held on March 2, 2007 was our attempt at deconstructing and make sense of Union Budget 2007-08. For this, we drew on the insights of industry veterans and specialists on the Budget’s impact on their specific industrial sector, and the economy in general.

The keynote speeches were topical references to the Budget supported by a lecture on the tax issues in the Budget. A lively panel discussion followed which highlighted the impact of the Budget in its entirety by eliciting perspectives from our diverse panel.
